Erfolgreiche Blockadeaktionen am und im Fliegerhorst Büchel

Am Montag, den 12. September 2016, haben rund 35 Friedensaktivist_innen den Atomwaffenstandort Büchel erfolgreich und vielfältig blockiert. Dabei sind vor vier Toren Sitzblockaden errichtet worden. Diese wurden durch hohe Dreibeine (Tripods) und ein Betonfass verstärkt.
Neun Aktivist_innen konnten sich am frühen Morgen, anfangs unbemerkt, auf das Militärgelände bewegen und die Startbahn besetzen. Diese Gruppe wurde gegen 7:15 Uhr geräumt. Eine Person wurde der Polizei übergeben, in Gewahrsam genommen und erkennungsdienstlich behandelt. Die Übrigen wurden durch die Bundeswehr auf dem Gelände in einem Gebäude bis 11:30 Uhr festgehalten und wurden erst wieder frei gelassen, als die zuvor genannte Person schon längst aus dem Polizeigewahrsam zurückgekehrt war.
Die Aktivist_innen bauten die Blockaden vor den Toren selbstbestimmt um 10:30 Uhr ab, mit Ausnahme des Lutzerather Tors, wo sich zu diesem Zeitpunkt immer noch eine Person in einem Betonfass angekettet befand. Diese Person wurde gegen 12:30 Uhr durch die Feuerwehr unverletzt aus dem Betonfass geholt.
Einen gemeinsamen Abschluss fand der Aktionstag in einer Ballonbanner-Aktion direkt am Haupttor: „Lasst Ballons statt Bomben fliegen!“, hieß es auf dem gehissten Banner. 
Eine Kleingruppe wollte dem Bannerspruch konsequent gerecht werden. So befanden sich am Abend 99 Luftballons an langen Schnüren in der Einflugschneise des Fliegerhorstes.
Rückblickend sagt Fiona Rucke: „Mit unseren friedlichen Aktionen des Zivilen Ungehorsams haben wir gezeigt, dass wir mit der nötigen Entschlossenheit störender Sand im Getriebe der Kriegsmaschinerie sind.“
Initiiert wurden die vielfältigen Aktionen vom Jugendnetzwerk für politische Aktionen (JunepA), das schon mehrmals Blockaden in Büchel durchgeführt hat.
Der Betrieb der Militäranlage wurde von 5:15 Uhr an durch die antimilitaristischen Aktiven stark beeinträchtigt.

Successful blockade at and in the nuclear base Büchel

On Monday, 12th of September 2016, approximately 35 peace aktivists were successful blocking a nuclear base in Büchel (South-West Germany) in many different ways. Four gates were obstructed with sit-ins, which were supported by a Tripod and by a barrel full of concrete.
Nine activists were able to enter the restricted area before sunrise and occupied the runway, without being noticed first. This Group was evicted at 7:15. One of them was handed out to the police, taken in to custody while trying to identify the person. The others were held in a building on the site by the german army until 11:30 and released not before the first listed person had returned from custody.
The activists deconstructed their blockades in the driveways self-determined at 10:30, except the gate “Lutzerather Tor“, where there was still a person locked in a barrel full of concrete. This person was removed unharmed by firefighters at 12:30.
The day of action was completed by a collective balloon banner action directly infront the main entrance of the military site: “Let balloons rise instead throwing bombs!“, was the content of the bannertext. A small group wanted to consequently follow the statement written on the banner. So it occured, that in the evening there were 99 balloons hanging in the air in the entrance for jets to the runway.
Looking back Fiona Rucke resumes: “By our peaceful actions of civil disobediance we have shown, that strong-willed we are sand in the gears of the war machinery.“
The action was initiated by Jugendnetzwerk für politische Aktionen (JunepA), which already performed several blockades in Büchel.
The military base was blocked since 5:15 by the anti-militarist activists.
